Quick Start

 1. Mounting the sensor

• Attach the sensor flat and over the full surface area between or onto the layers.
• Avoid air gaps (use a thin layer of thermal foil, adhesive or paste).

 2. Electrical connection

• Connect the sensor to the µV/mV input of your multimeter.
• Relieve cable strain.

3. Functional test

• Gently warm the sensor (by hand or with a warm plate)  → the voltage U should respond
• Observe how polarity responds to direction of heat flux

4. Heat flux calculation

• Use the calibration factor c from the certificate.
• calculate the heat flux q = U$$\cdot$$c → result in W/m²
